Armed with lyrics inspired by mythology, classic literature, love, and loss, and inspired by genres ranging from new-wave to doom-metal, principal songwriter and vocalist, Genevieve Peek, commands ears, eyes, and hearts with her magnetic performance. Raised by a golden-age radio-rock DJ, with a record collection worthy of the profession, she spent her childhood lying on the living room floor, mesmerized by spinning vinyl, pouring over the well-worn record sleeves of The Clash, David Bowie, The Cure, Cheap Trick, Generation X, Patti Smith, Boston, and Fleetwood Mac. Her eclectic music taste seeps into her writing as well as her delivery; she'll  croon a sultry tune making you feel like you're the only person in the room, then belt an anthem fit for an arena. Having also completed a master's in recording, she has produced a number of The UNSOLVED's singles with more to come. Genevieve is the voice and the soul of The UNSOLVED.

Zac Niehues is a ten-fingered bassist, influenced by many other ten-fingered bass players, which is reflected in the wide range of styles heard throughout his work.  Using only six of his ten fingers (impressive!) Zac has a way of using nearly ALL of the available notes to seamlessly connect rhythm and melody while remaining largely faceless, yet never bass-less.

Shaped by the raw power of thrash metal and the profound depth of alt-rock, guitarist Ryan Sharif's own brand of rhythmic ingenuity focuses on building energy and layering dynamic textures that challenge and elevate The UNSOLVED's sound. By crafting heavy riffs and breaking chords into intricate puzzles, Ryan's guitar parts blend seamlessly with - and sometimes challenge - Max's melodic leads. With equal parts force and finesse, Ryan leaves a mark long after the final note.
